Welcome to the XVIII International Congress of Educating Cities
We look forward to meeting you again and sharing, as always, knowledge, experiences, ideas and values. Values that define us and that are clearly present in our Charter.
We act with the conviction that this Congress represents a stimulating challenge for our city and that is why we are building projects that aim to be lasting, beyond the month of May 2026.
We are working with the teachers of our schools and institutes and their students so that during the 2025/2026 academic year the Congress is well present in the classrooms.
And we do it with the citizens, with people and agents from all the neighborhoods. We want to reach everyone.
We have planned various activities that will allow us to ensure that the topics of the Congress are those that articulate conversations, reflections, creative proposals...
From day one we have been mindful of the legacy we want to leave in the city. And we persist.
Friends, we work every day so that next May everything is ready. Everything in its place.
We feel the desire and excitement to welcome you "home".

City and Congress
The XVIII International Congress of Educating Cities that will be held in Granollers also has participation spaces that should serve to shape this collective project through citizen commissions.
Thematic network of education and culture
Granollers coordinates for two years (2024-2025) a thematic network of the State Network of Educating Cities that focuses on education and culture. 30 cities in the state participate: Barcelona, Bilbao, Zaragoza, Valencia, Tarragona, San Sebastián, Lleida, Girona, Tarragona, Gijón, Rivas VaciaMadrid, Barakaldo, Vitoria, Avilés, Tomelloso, Xàtiva, Vila real, Sant Cugat, Illescas, Ibi, Prat de Llobregat, Sant Feliu de Llobregat, Castell d'Aro-Platja d'Aro-S'Agaró, Canovelles, Quart de Poblet, Castelldefels, Santa Perpètua de Mogoda and Sant Just Desvern.
