Humans

Humans is a photographic work in progress of the artist Angélica Dass. Currently composed of nearly 4,000 portraits by volunteers from around the world, Humanæ seeks to document the true colors of humanity and to raise a critical reflection on the false labels of white, red, black and yellow associated with race. The project does not select participants and has no set completion date. It is a journey of open possibilities that enriches the way we see ourselves, beyond faces and colors. To date, the artist has made portraits in 36 cities and 20 different countries.
