Horacio Rios
Audiovisual director, producer and director of Radio y Televisión Santafesina
Horacio Ríos is an Argentine audiovisual director, producer and teacher, with a professional career linked to the communication and the cultural management. He has been Secretary of Culture of Rosario (2009-2015) and Secretary of Social Communication of the province of Santa Fe (2015-2019). Since 2023 he has been the director of Radio y Televisión Santafesina (RTS).
Trained at the Provincial School of Cinema and Television in Rosario, in 1993 he became the director of Latin American Festival of Video and Audiovisual Arts of Rosario. In the field of cultural management, in 1996 he assumed the management of the Rosario Municipal Video Library, transformed in 2001 into the Rosario Audiovisual Center.
He was a co-founder of the’School for Animators of Rosario and has been a jury member at numerous international film festivals. At the same time, he has carried out teaching tasks related to journalism and audiovisual production.
