Granollers Town Council wished to acknowledge the volunteers from the XVIII International Congress of Educating Cities this Wednesday. This was done through an event held in the auditorium of the Roca Umbert Library, where nearly 60 volunteers, out of the hundred who participated during the week of 26th to 29th May, gathered.
The appreciation has also been extended to all those people who have collaborated with the congress, such as in the presentations that many entities from the city have made during the study visits that the delegates made around Granollers.
This recognition of volunteering has been used to remember that the work continues, as there are different projects linked to the congress that will endure as a legacy. The Congress of Children and Adolescents or «... and what if we were 500?» are two examples, which will also require the involvement of volunteers.
