The experiences must be framed within the main theme and fall into one of its three axes:
City / Community: This first axis emphasizes the construction of a shared “we”, in an increasingly diverse urban context. Initiatives will be promoted that foster intercultural dialogue, social cohesion and the right to the city, assuming diversity as a source of wealth and, at the same time, as a collective challenge.
Critical Citizenship: In the face of phenomena such as disinformation, polarization or simplifying discourses, this second axis calls for the training of people with autonomous and responsible thinking. Actions are proposed to strengthen active participation, critical thinking and local democracy.
Creative Citizenship: The third axis defends creativity as an essential tool for facing current and future challenges. Educational, cultural and technological projects will be promoted that promote citizen innovation and social capital, recognizing the transformative potential of creativity within the reach of all people.
Experiences can be sent in five languages: Spanish, French, English, Portuguese or Catalan, until October 9, 2025.
The maximum number of initiatives that can be submitted is three experiences per city, provided they have the impetus and support of the municipal government. In addition, proposals promoted by other institutions, entities or associations will be valued.
There are three ways to present experiences: Workshops, Direct Dialogue and Digital Poster.
